General Terms and Conditions (GTC)

for events hosted by The Moveable Feasters Ilie GbR

1. Scope

These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all contracts, services, and events of The Moveable Feasters Ilie GbR, in particular wine tastings, gourmet evenings, culinary short trips, as well as private and corporate events.
Differing conditions of the customer shall not apply unless expressly agreed in writing.

2. Conclusion of Contract

Event bookings can be made via email, phone, in person, or through our website.
A binding contract is formed upon written booking confirmation by The Moveable Feasters Ilie GbR.
Participation is only permitted for adults aged 18 and over.

3. Prices and Payment Terms

All prices are stated in euros and – unless otherwise indicated – include the statutory value-added tax.
Payment is due at the time of booking via the available online payment methods, particularly PayPal or credit card.
A booking is considered binding only after successful receipt of payment.
For corporate or custom-tailored events, we reserve the right to issue an invoice with a 7-day payment term instead.

4. Cancellation by Customers

Cancellations are free of charge up to 28 calendar days before the event date.
For cancellations after this period, the following cancellation fees apply:

• Up to 14 days before: 50% of the agreed price

• Up to 7 days before: 75% of the agreed price

• Less than 48 hours before or no-show: 100%

Rescheduling is possible depending on availability but cannot be guaranteed.
No refunds will be issued in the event of a no-show.

5. Cancellation by the Organizer

The Moveable Feasters Ilie GbR reserves the right to cancel or reschedule events for important reasons (e.g., illness, force majeure, insufficient number of participants).
Payments already received will be fully refunded. Further claims are excluded.

6. Execution & Changes

We reserve the right to make minor changes to the event schedule, wine or food selection, or venue, provided the overall character of the event is not significantly altered.
There is no entitlement to specific wines, dishes, or presenters.

7. Liability

Participation is at your own risk.
The Moveable Feasters Ilie GbR is only liable for intent and gross negligence.
We accept no liability for health issues caused by intolerances or excessive alcohol consumption.
Customers are responsible for their own travel arrangements and belongings.
The organizers are not liable for lost or damaged items.

8. Alcohol Consumption & Protection of Minors

As our events include the consumption of alcoholic beverages, participation is limited to adults aged 18 and over.
We reserve the right to request proof of age.

9. Photo and Video Recordings

Photos and videos may be taken during our events for marketing or documentation purposes.
If you do not wish to appear in any recordings, please inform us before the start of the event.

10. Data Protection

The processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with our Privacy Policy (available on our website).
Customer data will be used exclusively for handling the event and, if applicable, for customer support.

11. Final Provisions

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies.
Place of jurisdiction, insofar as legally permissible, is the registered office of The Moveable Feasters Ilie GbR.
Should individual provisions of these GTC be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
